On Mother’s Day, give Mom a “rest coupon” so she can relax while the rest of the family handles a few household tasks.
- 2
Dad begins tidying. Mom and your child can cheer for him: “Dad made the window shine. Let’s clap for him!” This shows that everyone can care for the home.
- 3
Then Dad invites your child to join: “What would you like to help with?” Choose a simple task such as putting away shoes, toys, or books.
- 4
After each task, name the contribution: “Thank you for putting the shoes away. The entryway looks so tidy.”
- 5
When the work is finished, celebrate together and enjoy the clean space.
